Why Google is Not Providing SEO Certification?
You will explore the reasons for the unavailability of Google authorized SEO course along with overview of 3rd party certifications.
Exploring the “SEO Certification Course” on Google is like asking the magician about his tricks!
As of now and for the future, you won’t get any SEO certification course from Google because of the certain level of conflict of interest and opinions.
The core reasons behind this unavailability are as follows:
1. Manipulation of Search Algorithms
If google will start providing SEO certification, they have to provide a clear understanding of algorithms with practical application.
Learning of tips and tactics provided by Google itself would leave high possibilities of manipulation.
After all, the machine’s functionality can be easily beaten by human intellect. And then I even wonder what work will SEO Executives do. SEO is all about trying and testing. That has kept it more interesting as a profession.
Companies can also hire hackers to do such manipulations to achieve higher domain authority.
2. Manipulation of Search Results
Extension to the 1st point, manipulation of algorithms has a direct impact on search results.
When a person will try to manipulate algorithms, the crawling and indexation process gets adversely affected which results in “doctored SERP” (Search Engine Results Page).
3. The Dominance of Black Hat SEO tactics
The most relevant reason for Google’s denial of certification is “Back Hat SEO Practices”. From the very first algorithm update, Google displayed its clear stand on penalizing sites for practicing black hat SEO tactics.
Now, Imagine a person learning “off-page SEO” from google and uses the knowledge against it by practicing “link farming”! This can cause major trouble and it could be very difficult for them to manage such a situation.
These are the reasons why google always refrains from providing SEO certification. But, we have one closer match here.
